l'amiral LEAMY de demander au gouvernement français s'il
considérerait ... les accords intervenus entre l'amiral
ROBERT, GREENSLADE, et ...NE comme intactes. Le
gouvernement des E.U. craint actuellement que les termes
de la note française du 27 février puissent comporter une
... des facilités accordées aux représentants américains
par notre gouverneur aux Antilles. J'ai demandé au sous-
secrétaire d'état qu'il veuille bien me préciser que, dans
le cas où le gouvernement français confirmerait la validité
de ces accords, il nous donnerait encore l'assurance qu'il
reconnaîtrait strictement la souveraineté française sur nos
territoires de l'hémisphère accidentale (et qu'il)
maintiendrait sa promesse de ... pour rétablir cette
