Bien que réquisitions aient été placées auprès de PEA il est certain que nous aurons à obtenir des Combinés Boards des allocations pour la plupart des produits.

II. Nous avons déjà poursuivi discussions avec les Combined Boards sur cotonnade, laine, cuirs et peaux, caoutchouc, papier-journal et produits alimentaires.

A) **Cotonnade.** Il n'y a (6075) aucune difficulté pour obtenir la totalité de cotonnade demandée, mais étant donné que la qualité moyenne sera inférieure à celle figurant dans notre programme, nous nous limitons pour le moment à une première réquisition de 55.000 tonnes. Un télégraphe séparé vous sera envoyé sous peu.

B) **Laine.** Nous attendons votre réponse avec impatience en ce qui concerne les qualités de laine dont vous avez besoin. Le Combined Raw Materials Board (CRMB) nous a indiqué que nous pouvions procéder librement à nos achats de laine, la laine n'étant pas un produit rare. Etant donné que nous désirons procéder à ces (6074) achats en livres sterling, nous avons eu des conversations avec les exportateurs anglais. Il existe de gros stocks de laine aux États-Unis détenus par les anglais dont ils sont disposés à nous céder une partie contre paiement en livres sterling. (6075) (C) **Cuire et peaux.** La situation du marché des cuirs et peaux est très critique. Comité de travail a été créé par CRMB. Nous y sommes représentés. Les tanneries anglaises et américaines manquent déjà de matériel. Nous ne pouvons obtenir allocation que si sommes en mesure d'informer autorités alliées que nos tanneries sont en état de .M. . Prise de réunir immédiatement informations nécessaires.

D) **Caoutchouc.** La section caoutchouc du CRMB (télégraphie) à Londres pour recommander qu'une première expédition de 2.500 tonnes caoutchouc soit faite d'Angleterre. Nous insistons pour qu'on envoie également carbon black et autres produits accessoires (6076) nécessaires pour travailler cette quantité caoutchouc. Attendons impatiemment réponse non télégraphe MIXTRO 50 F. Dites également s'il y a actuellement production caoutchouc synthétique en France et de quelle importance.
