I. En Tunisie de violents engagements se déroulent à proximité de Nateur et de Tebourba - au cours de puissantes attaques les forces de l'Axe ont capturé 200 prisonniers et détruit 34 chars. Intense activité dans l'air, Tunis, Bizerte, Sfax, Gabès, Alger, Bougie, Bône, Blida ont été bombardés. Une formation navale italienne a coulé un croiseur allié dans les eaux tunisiennes. D'autre part, trois destroyers anglais, escortant un convoi, auraient été détruits. Un grand nombre de Nord-Africains ont rejeté l'ordre de mobilisation émis par les Américains. 19 heures, 47 minutes, 4 décembre.
