WILANOWSKI à Londres et qui ne serait donc reconnu ni à titre officiel, ni à titre officieux par le gouvernement français. FIRTEA, polonais naturalisé français, vient d'être convoqué à Lublin, et recevra une autorisation de sortie de la France.

Un certain nombre d'évadés des pénitenciers de la Guyane, qui déclarent avoir voulu rejoindre les forces françaises libres, se trouvent actuellement détentés dans certains pays voisins de notre colonie.

Désirant le retour en Guyane des compatriotes qui mènent en générale une vie misérable dans des camps d'internement, le Ministre des Colonies a proposé au gardien des évadés des mesures d'amnistie applicables au seul fait de l'évasion.

Je vous serais obligé (2936) de me faire savoir par télégramme si des évadés susceptibles de bénéficier de ces mesures sont actuellement réfugiés dans le pays de votre résidence et si vous estimez possible d'obtenir des facilités de transport et la coopération des autorités locales pour leur rapatriement en Guyane.

Ils offrent de verser à l'avenir montant en dollars canadiens au crédit du compte que nous nous sommes fait ouvrir au Canada, pour encaissement de la contre-valeur des francs remis pour le paiement de la solde trompée canadienne. Gouvernement américain vient de prendre position
contre le projet de conférence panaméricaine dont le Gouvernement
argentin avait récemment saisi les républiques de ce continent.
Le Mexique, sans doute d'accord avec le Gouvernement des Etats-
Unis avait pris, il y a trois jours, les devants, en se prononçant
également contre cette réunion. Les Gouvernements (6883)
américain et mexicain se sont trouvés d'accord d'autre part pour
faire connaître aux autres républiques de l'Amérique latine que
la situation de l'Argentine pourrait être "incidemment" examinée
au cours d'une conférence panaméricaine consacrée à l'examen
des projets d'organisation internationale et dont la convocation
prochaine est envisagée. Les Gouvernements estiment cependant
que le Gouvernement argentin ne devra pas (6884) être invité à
cette conférence, ce qui le privera de tous moyens plaider sa
cause si conférence décide de s'occuper .U. du problème argentin.
Le seul état d'Amérique latine à avoir pris position sur la
proposition argentine est le Chili. Il s'est prononcé en faveur
son acceptation tout en indiquant qu'il se rallierait à la
décision de la majorité des autres républiques.
