But they consider that the political standing of the de GALLIETS with respect to the Imperial Government and the assistance which ex-Admiral MUSELIER has received in the British country of Canada, oblige them to request the government to take a hand in the immediate re-establishment of the former regime. This re-establishment would involve, in the first place, the evacuation of the territory by the de GALLIET mercenaries, and the replacement of our own officials.
