En regardant le document technique, il est possible de remarquer que les cellules se retrouvent sur l'extérieur de la coque. Le navire a aussi une salle d'isolation pour les malades, sont envoyés dans une salle fermée à l’avant du navire. À l'arrière du navire, il y a une salle pour la compagnie maritime et la garde, ainsi qu'une salle qui entrepose les fusils. Fait en cuir avec des éléments décoratifs fait à partir de piquants de porc-épic et de fibres, la robe témoigne des traditions Cris. Parallèlement, la robe témoigne de l'influence euro-canadienne dans l'utilisation des perles de verre comme ornement, car ces perles n'étaient pas utilisées dans les communautés autochtones, incluant chez les Cris, avant d'être introduites dans le cadre du commerce des fourrures et intégrées à une tradition existant de perlage.&#13;

Observez les motifs géométriques en haut de la robe, composés de carrés, de rectangles et de triangles.  Contrairement aux motifs floraux perlés que beaucoup associent aujourd'hui aux Métis, ces motifs géométriques que l'on retrouve sur cette robe représentent le fort héritage cri de nombreux Métis des plaines, nous donnant un aperçu des aspects de l'artisanat cri qui allaient influencer l'esthétique métisse en se mêlant aux motifs anishinaabe, européens et nouveaux pour former une identité visuelle métisse distincte.</text>
