Construction of the Fourth Welland Canal

The Welland Canal in southern Ontario, Canada is a nearly 200-year-old shipping route. As such an old piece of infrastructure, the original version of the canal is long gone, having undergone four major renovations over the last two centuries. This exhibit will examine the history of the Welland Canal, and the construction of the Fourth Welland Canal, which is still in use today.
