Paul Anka is one of the most famous Canadian singers who is known throughout the world. He is both Lebanese and Syrian decent, and he was born and raised in the city of Ottawa, Ontario. His major work which debuted his career was the song Diana, which he originally wrote about his older babysitter Diana Ayoub in the year of 1957 when he was only sixteen years old. The song Diana topped the musical charts throughout North America and Western Europe and he quickly became a teenaged heartthrob. Anka’s career has managed to last until today as he still continues to perform and entertain millions of people throughout the world.
