The letter describes the people he encounters in the Saint Laurent Valley, including French Canadians, fur traders and Indigenous peoples such as the Algonquin Nation and the Haudenosaunee. The letter is on pages 24 to 31 in this book, which is a reprint of the 1705 publication, composed of multiple letters of the Baron`s voyages in North America.</text>
