Title
Fil Fraser
Description
Fil Fraser was famous for a lot of different things, most notably his achievements in radio and film. He was the first Black Canadian to become a radio broadcaster. He continued broadcasting and other radio-related activities for many years, especially while he lived in the Canadian Prairies. It was also while living in the Canadian Prairies that Fil Fraser pursued film writing and directing, which he is also famous for. His decision to move to the prairies helped foster his career into what it is today, and it gave him opportunities he might not have had if he had stayed in Ontario.
