Title

"Excerpt from Black Life: Untold Stories"

Description

A video with recollections of a Black student in Perry Anderson's class, as well as primary footage of Perry Anderson responding to questions about his Black students. The crux of the whole affair is told neatly and quickly in this video. Perry Anderson was the teacher of a mandatory course to become a medical professional, and Black students often suffered worse grades or failed the course more often than white students. It was clear that he was treating Black students differently and yet the school was doing very little about these claims. This was the start of Canada's largest student protest to date.
