Ms.Cools was one of the leaders of the protesting at Sir George Williams University and led an eventful life, determined to make change for the better in the world. She was a Caribbean immigrant, student, and later the first Black senator in Canada. She impacted many lives throughout her life and an important part of her young life was the Sir George Williams affair, affecting how she saw things later in life.
