RITES

This was the front Page of the Canadian magazine Rites (vol. 2, no. 6) published in Toronto in 1985. This cover features Sweet Honey in the Rock, a singing group that often collaborated with the Sister Vision Press, such as in the Benefit Concert in 1993. This magazine cover, which is part of the Sister Vision Press Fonds at the University of Ottawa's Archives and Special Collections, was an example of the spread of queer culture and music thanks to the Sister Vision Press.
