Nettie Ware And Friend

Title
Nettie Ware And Friend
Description
Nettie Ware and her friend around 1925. I think that this image shows how Nettie is seen as a very successful woman, and that her homesteading beginnings are often left out of her many accomplishments. Her homesteading beginnings is what shaped her to become the woman she did and her experiences is what pushed her to help others the way she did. She grew up on a ranch and lost her famous cowboy father, John Ware, at a young age, so she can sometimes be lost in history because she was overshadowed be her father. She has accomplished much and should not be forgotten.
