Description
Jefferson Edwards was an important part of the early Black settlers in Alberta. He was one of the first to settle in Amber Valley and became an important community leader. He had worked hard in order to bring his wife to Canada. He cared a lot about the people of Amber Valley and wanted the Black Settler Community to thrive in the Canadian Prairies. He fostered education and community in Amber Valley and secceeded.
