Title A name given to the resource Christina Frederickson Description An account of the resource Christina Frederickson was a nurse in Edmonton Alberta when she died on October 28, 1918. Frederickson was originally from Skagafjörður, Iceland but was living in Edmonton at the time of her death. She was a graduate nurse of rank Leiut, n/s (nursing sister). Frederickson was originally admitted to the hospital on October 24, 1918 after being sent home from work sick. She was pale and dehydrated and complained of headaches, cough, and occasional vomiting. Frederickson remained in the hospital the next four days with unchanging symptoms; she eventually passed at 5:20 pm on the 28 at the age of 32 from epidemic influenza. Prior to being admitted to the hospital, Fredrickson had been vaccinated once in her left arm.
