Margaret Lowe was born in 1888 in Ayrshire, Scotland. When she moved to Winnipeg, she became a nurse. She is a presbyterian. Margaret was Caucasian and she was about 28 years old when she passed. She was about five feet and six inches tall and she weighed one hundred and forty pounds. Her training was as a sister, her departure off the ship was March 21, 1914, and she was a part of the overseas expedition. The hospital she served in was the No.1 General Hospital in Etaples France, where she was ultimately killed by a German air raid that fractured her skull and caused wounds to her chest. She was buried in the Etaples Military Cemetery.
