Etta served for months at the 7th General Hospital in France whilst experiencing 'considerable pain', which she did not report until July 26th - less than a month before her death. The assessment finds the case inoperable, and the condition of Nursing Sister Sparks too severe to be 'invalided to Canada'. The officers finding speak to the plausibility of Sparks as as dutiful contribute to the war effort, despite potentially dooming herself by failing to report her own medical condition in time.</text>
