L.E.A.Ts mission is to keep certain that there is a management overlooking the use and sustainable management of the environment and natural resources. They have used the public in their mission by taking public interest litigation and they have also used locals for advocacy, strategic research, capacity building and networking. They created a team to make sure the environment is sustained.
