India Water Foundation and their mission statement: The IWF works amongst the people at the grassroots level, especially amongst the marginalized and weaker sections, women, tribal’s and the poorest communities in India and the Asia-Pacific region, in cooperation with local, state and national governments, and with other like-minded civil society organizations (CSOs), to help them develop water, sanitation, hygiene and climate change adaptation services that are not temporary, but lasting forever. The IWF identifies the roadblocks to sustainable development and helps overcome them.
