Creator

Eo Sharp (set and costume designer)
Peter Hinton (director)

Subject

Hinton, Peter; Sharp, Eo; sketches; set designs; The Comedy of Errors

Description

These boards were created for the production of The Comedy of Errors, at the National Arts Centre (in co-production with Centaur Theatre Company). Some of the major design inspirations on the boards come from the Via Rail Station, the statue of the Madonna, and the hanging boats from inside the Notre-Dame-de-Bon-Secours Chapel. There is also a Lady Gaga (pop culture) inspired look, and a Mountie to add to the Canadian atmosphere. The real pieces used for these inspirations can be found in Montréal.
