Description on the back of the postcard: “Created in 1953 by Tanya Moiseiwitsch, who recently re-designed it in association with Brian Jackson, the pillared platform stage brings the action of a play right into the audience. Shimmering costumes and elaborate ‘props’ provide the only dressing.”
