The foxtrot was and is a popular American dance. This exhibit takes a look at the music that's involved with the foxtrot, specifically music that doesn't quite fit the foxtrot mould. A brief history of the foxtrot is outlined, as well as the standards for typical foxtrot music, which is used as a comparison for the atypical music.
