Busy copying +c observations. Had an interesting chat with Mr. E. F. Eschweiler M. R. of the Badger Mine. He expects his mine to pay $100,000 profits per year, the Beaver mine (near his) is he says the richest in the world, it is already clearing from $60 to $70,000 per month. Peters the millionaire of Manistee, Mich. Is the owner of the latter.
I had Mr. W. Scott the (my) operator to dinner this evening.
