The story is told in the first person from the points of view of the two primary characters and in the third person from the perspective of a variety of minor characters. Rufus is a bisexual Cuban American; Matteo is a gay (closeted until his end day) Puerto Rican.<br /><br />The cover art was created by Simón Prades.
