The touring production by the German overseas ensemble Die Brücke was sponsored by the Goethe-Institut. Cast members of "Die Kleinbürgerhochzeit" and the second play in the touring repertoire, "Die Kurve" by Tankred Dorst, included Dieter Brammer, Ursula Erber, Heini Goebel, Michael Hoffmann, Claudia Lobe, Inge Rassaerts, Christian Roede, Erich Schellow, and Joost Siedhoff.
