About Brecht / Sur Brecht
“A lesson on the work of playwright Bertolt Brecht including a performance of 'The Exception and the Rule'", in a double bill with The Beast in the Bag by Isabelle Foord (Event notice). The project was funded by the Local Initiatives Program (LIP) of the job creation branch of the department of manpower and immigration, the Sault and Area Board of Education, and the Sault District Separate School Board. “The purpose of the grant was to establish a theatre company employing local unemployed people as actors, musicians, technicians and designers to present plays for children within the elementary and secondary school systems.” (“LIP grants finance plays.”)
