Notes: "An alternative setting of the well-known Christmas poem by Christina Rossetti. This arrangement for SSA choir with piano accompaniment starts with a gentle introduction to the theme. It moves through an alternative tune for verses 2 and 4 modulating each time into a new key as the original theme returns for verses 3 and 5. A combination of beautiful simplicity with some striking harmonies and a capella sections make this an interesting new version of a familiar carol."
