Notes: From a song collection called "Six Songs." "Reviewed in the Musical Standard 6 May 1882. Cowen released several sets of six and twelve songs, of which this is the earliest to contain a Rossetti setting. Rossetti settings included within Cowen's collections were often published separately, there are no separate publications located for this setting" (Ives).
