Notes about the text: The lyrics "My heart is like an apple tree whose boughs are bent with thickset fruit" are repeated three times. The lyrics "My heart is like a rainbow shell that paddles in a halcyon sea" are repeated twice, as are the lyrics "My heart is gladder than all these because my love is come to me." The lyrics "In leaves, and silver fleur de-lys" are repeated twice, and after these lyrics, the first four lines of the poem are repeated, followed by the last lines of the poem.
