Composition history: "This arrangement of Holst's famous hymn was made to feature a boy treble with chamber orchestra. This re-arrangement is for soprano or trumpet solo and brass."

Performance instructions: For 10-piece brass ensemble. "Play expressively but dolce throughout. The accompaniment in verse 2 should be light and slightly detached but the line should be evident through the voices. A solo trumpet can substitute for the solo voice if not available."
