Notes: "Adapted from Schumann." From a collection called "Songs For Little People: For Use in the Sunday-School, the Kindergarten, and the Home," first published in 1905. The collection includes an introduction by Lucy Wheelock and a foreword by editors Frances Weld Danielson and Grace Wilbur Conant. A new edition of the collection was published 10 years later, which included the addition of thirty-six new and old songs.
