Notes about the text: This song is a setting of the first stanza of Christina Rossetti's "A Year's Windfalls", with the following modifications: In the song, "On the winter wind" replaces "On the wind of January" in line 1 of the poem; the first word "Downward" replaces "Down" in line 2; "Down the icy way" followed by "Robin Redbreast comes" replaces the poem lines 5 and 6, "Poor robin redbreast" and "Look where he comes."
