Diplo 241.
DIPLOFRANCE reports that the amounts of fats and oils which will be needed by France in 1945 have been decided on, and that an expert is to present them to the Combined Food Board. Three conditions for the pooling of French colonial resources in these products should be established: that French needs be considered on the same basis as those of other allies; that any colonial products sent to other allies be paid for in dollars so that the French can buy their supply elsewhere; and that certain quantities of various types of these products be sent to France from the colonies in December and January.
