1941-1943 (Summary)
GARREAU draws the attention of the Department to his plain text press résumés, which in the absence of a regular courier are his only means of sending such information to Algiers. Since the Soviet press is rigidly controlled, the articles are valuable for the light they throw on the Kremlin's policies in moulding public opinion. He hopes that MASSIOLI receives a proper transcription of his résumés which have to be sent in extremely telegraphic form.
