The first part of this telegram is missing, the second is very corrupt. GARREAU reports that the Turkish Ambassador has, naturally, had certain contacts with the Russian Foreign Office, but he does not believe that these conversations have any particular political significance. He quotes a Russian spokesman as saying that the Turks have made their volteface a little late, and that one must not forget their close relations with axis satellites.
