Mr. PAIN sends to the French Ambassador at Tokyo part of
General DE GAULLE's speech, delivered 22 November, in which he
said that France is ready to take a greater part in the war in
the Far East in the future since to date, she had only her bases
in the Pacific and some naval units to offer. She has not given
up any of her rights or her duties.
