I am very grateful for the assurances contained in your telegram No. 235. They enable me to calm the critics of France who say that she is unable to meet her financial obligations incurred on behalf of Stanislas College. I am very glad that you have authorized me to announce that the second subvention of a minimum of $25,000 will be available on the first of January 1942.
