- 1894, Sept. – Active in Toronto at 33–37 Adelaide Street West, advertising “Electric Light Supplies, Telephone And General Supplies” (“We Are Exhibiting”)
- 1898, Feb. – Active; factory damaged by fire. “The works of the Toronto Electrical Works Company, Adelaide street west, Toronto, were recently damaged by fire to the extent of $10,000, the loss being partially covered by insurance.” (“Sparks”)

They manufacture the "American Watchman's Time Detector," which won the only medal for its class awarded at the Chicago World's Fair.
