- 1907 - Founded by as Pollock Manufacturing Co. Ltd. by Arthur Bell Pollock in Kitchener Ontario ("Our Story")
- 1909 - The Pollock Manufacturing Company, Berlin (Kitchener), ON is active and advertising “Pollock Cabinet Talking Machines.” (“Phonola”)
- 1919 - 1919 – The Phonola Co. of Canada Ltd., an arm of the General Phonograph Corp. of New York, NY, USA takes over the Pollock Manufacturing Company of Kitchener, ON, with which it already has a trading link. (“Phonola”)
- 1925 – A new company owned by A.B. Pollock, Pollock-Welker Ltd. purchases the Kitchener plant and business, and produces “Helycon phonograph motors, tone-arms and reproducers, which are so favorable known to the trade in Canada…” (“Phonola”)
- 1933, Apr. – Arthur B. Pollock combines two of his companies, Pollock-Welker Limited and the Grimes Radio Corporation Ltd. to form Dominion Electrohome Industries Ltd. Pollock’s son Carl Pollock becomes manager (“Electrohome fonds”)
- 1951 – Carl Pollock becomes President of Dominion Electrohome.
- 1965 - Electrohome is the first company to manufacture colour TV sets in Canada. ("Our Story")
- 1967 – Company’s official name changed to Electrohome Ltd. (“Electrohome fonds”)
- 1969 – Carl Pollock’s son, John A. Pollock, becomes vice president of the electronics division. (“Electrohome fonds”)
