Description
A bird's-eye view of Main Street, looking northwest from the Merchants Bank Building (at Lombard Avenue). The Union Bank Tower stands at the curve of Main Street and the old Central Fire Hall is near centre. Many buildings of the Exchange District are visible. There are streetcars and horse drawn carriages on the street and pedestrians on the sidewalks.
