Description
These graphics share results of data-driven analysis of representation in popular music programming at the National Arts Centre from 1969 to 1976. The data was extracted from NAC's annual reports from the seven seasons in this period, and reflects both the NAC's programming as well as rentals.
The dataset was then augmented to include the ensemble type, gender identity, ethnicity and geographic origins of the performers.
The dataset was curated by Gabriella Clarke and Kati Sainté.
