Title
Workflow Diagram
Subject
préservation numérique; digital preservation; disquette; floppy disk
Description
A diagram of the digitization and preservation workflow. It is comprised of 6 main stages (Document media, Create disk image, Export files, Initial analysis, Appraisal, Pre-Ingest/ingest) which each contain a number of steps.
This workflow is adapted from Meister (2014), which divides the process into four stages: Document Media, Create Disk Image, Export Files, and Initial Analysis. However, we
have added an Appraisal Stage and Pre-ingest/Ingest Stage to this workflow to account for the
final actions in the preservation process.
