Reverend George Slater

Dublin Core

Title

Reverend George Slater

Description

Rev Slater was known for being a socialist. He believed that democracy was the reason that Black people were suffering and that socialism was the only solution. His approach to the racism that Black people faced is different from that of many other people. He may not have tried to push himself into the area where Black people had not been allowed into like many other people did, but he still cared to fight for the rights of his people, through the support of the church and socialism.
