World War One Soldiers

In Summer 2022, students from Carleton University who participated in Dr. Dominique Marshall's course "Rethinking Modern Canadian History (HIST1302A)" researched black soldiers who enrolled in the Canadian Army's Second Construction Battalion. Their research led to the creation of 'service files' for each researched soldier. This project was done in collaboration with Project True North, and the Ottawa-Carleton District School Board.
