Minnie Katherine Gallaher was born in Kingston, Ontario, Canada in 1880. She was a nursing sister in World War One and was also a nurse before World War One. Minnie Kathrine enlisted at Moore Barracks, Canadian Hospital. She went overseas to Europe and served in France. Minnie Kathrine died in 1918 and it is assumed that she drowned while at sea. Minnie Kathrine was not married but she had a brother that also enlisted in World War One, and she also had a mother who was considered her next of kin on her documents. Minnie Kathrine was buried at the Halifax Memorial in Nova Scotia.
