Born on May 28th, 1843, in Kings County, Nova Scotia, Jessie Brown Jaggard enlisted into the Canadian Army Medical Corps under the 3rd Canadian Stationary Hospital division on May 11th, 1915, at the age of 42, as a Matron. Similarly, Jessie Brown Jaggard was married to H.A Jaggard with her next kin located in the United States. Jessie Brown Jaggard served both domestically and oversees, specifically in the former theatre of war located in Europe. On December 9th, 1915, Jessie Brown Jaggard passed away of Dysentery at the 9th Canadian General Hospital and was discharged of her service. She is currently buried at the Portianos Military Cemetery in Greece.
