Description
The lecture describes how to move a musical melody through changing pitch. Schafer explains that amplitude, timbre, and silence can enhance a melody by presenting three examples of graphic notation. Schafer also uses three more examples of graphic notation to display a melody falling from grace, an ascending melody, and a neutral melody.
