Description
In this article, W. Littler describes Schafer's reasoning for positioning the instrumentalists around the lake for their performance of <em>Music for Wilderness Lake</em> He then explained why the piece needed to be played on a lake at dusk and dawn. He then also explains how the piece reflects the loon calls of the lake and the different sounds associated with nature.
