Busy in my office. I unpacked a case of fossils + sent part of them to [____] J. W. Powell Director [____] Geological Survey, Washington. They [air] from W. Stephen + one species has been [rescued] by Dr Reminger to where I sent similar ones last fall. Gyzia Klotzi – after me she discovered. As Marie + I now both laughing for Oskar I wrote to him to come home + he did so this afternoon by stage. I sent the boys for evergreens to make wreaths + garlands for tomorrow for Marie’s Birthday.
